This organic Ruk’u’x Ulew (Heart of the Earth) cacao is sourced from a family-owned farm in Alta Verapaz, Guatemala and processed in San Marcos La Laguna, on the shores of Lake Atitlan. Each bean is fermented, sun-dried, lightly roasted over a wood fire and peeled by hand. It is milled in small batches, packaged fresh and enjoyed around the world. Every purchase of this ancestral medicine supports Mayan families through ethical direct trade.
